Welcome to WunderColor ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how Kalibr Pte. Ltd. (a company registered in Singapore) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit www.wundercolor.com (the "Site") and use our digital coloring platform and AI tools (the "Services").

We respect your privacy. We are a digital-first company, which means we do not collect your physical shipping address, and we never sell your personal data to third parties.

By using WunderColor, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide our coloring services, process your subscription, and help you generate custom images.

2.1. Information You Provide directly

  • Account Information: We collect your email address and a hashed password when you sign up.
  • Payment Information: We do not store your credit card numbers. All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We only receive limited data such as your payment status, the last 4 digits of your card (for verification), and your billing email.
  • AI Prompts: When you use our AI features, we collect the text prompts you enter (e.g., "Cute dinosaur eating pizza") to generate your images.
  • Communications: Data you provide when you contact our support team, including email content and feedback.

2.2. Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: We track which collections you view, the images you download, your remaining AI credits, and your login history.
  • Technical Data: We collect your IP address, browser type, device type (mobile/desktop), operating system, and referring URLs.
  • Marketing Data: If you clicked an ad to find us, we track which campaign brought you here (using UTM parameters).

2.3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies (small text files stored on your device) to make our site work and to understand how it is used.

  • Essential Cookies: Required for you to log in and stay logged in. You cannot turn these off.
  • Analytics (PostHog): We use PostHog to understand user behavior (e.g., which pages are most popular) so we can improve the app.
  • Advertising Pixels: We use tracking technologies from Facebook (Meta), Google, TikTok, and Pinterest. These allow us to measure the effectiveness of our ads and show you relevant WunderColor ads on those platforms.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for specific, legal reasons:

  1. To Provide the Service: To manage your account, process your payment, deliver your downloads, and generate your AI images.
  2. To Improve WunderColor: We analyze usage data and aggregated AI prompts to fix bugs, improve image quality, and build new features.
  3. To Communicate: To send you transactional emails (invoices, password resets) and, if you have opted in, marketing emails about new collections.
  4. Security & Compliance: To detect fraud (e.g., multiple accounts), enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations.

4. AI Generation & Third Parties

4.1. AI Generation

When you use our AI tool, your text input is processed by third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) to generate the image. We share only your text prompt with them; we do not send them your personal account details (like your email) connected to that prompt.

4.2. Service Providers

We share data with trusted third parties who help us operate our business. They are contractually obligated to protect your data:

  • Payment Processing: Stripe (Global)
  • Analytics: PostHog (Global)
  • Cloud Hosting: DigitalOcean / AWS CloudFront (US/Global)
  • Email Delivery: Postmark / Bento (for sending your receipts and updates)
  • Ad Networks: Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest (for measuring ad performance)

We do NOT sell your data. We only share data with these providers to facilitate the services described above.

5. International Data Transfers

Kalibr Pte. Ltd. is based in Singapore. Our servers and service providers may be located in the United States or other countries. By using WunderColor, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to and processed in countries where data protection laws may differ from those in your country of residence. We implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data during these transfers.

6. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, & PDPA)

Regardless of where you live, we grant you the following rights over your data:

  • Right to Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Correction: You can update your email or password inside your Account Settings.
  • Right to Deletion ("To Be Forgotten"): You can request that we delete your account and all associated data.
  • Right to Portability: You can request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to Opt-Out: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of our emails.

California Users (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. You have the right to know what information we collect and to request deletion without discrimination.

7. Data Retention

  • Active Accounts: We keep your data as long as your account is open so you can access your coloring history.
  • Deleted Accounts: If you request deletion, we will erase your personal information within 30 days.
  • Transaction Records: We are legally required to retain financial transaction records (payment history) for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.

8. Security

We take security seriously. We use:

  • Encryption: HTTPS/SSL for all data in transit.
  • Hashing: Your passwords are hashed using strong encryption (bcrypt) and never stored in plain text.
  • Access Control: Only authorized personnel have access to our databases.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

WunderColor is not intended for children under 18.

While our printable content is suitable for children, the account holder must be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete the account and all associated data immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

  • Minor Changes: Will be effective immediately upon posting.
  • Material Changes: If we make significant changes to how we handle your data, we will notify you via email before the changes take effect.
